Avensis Pollen Filter

Hi All....

Please help.. this is my 1st post...

My dad has just purchased a R reg Toyota avensis 5 door - top of the range model..

we have noticed that in the gear lever boot it gets full of dust from the 2 air vents above it??

please can anyone tell us if their is a pollen filter that could be blocked up or what it could be?,

if there is a pollen filter where is it located and is it easy to replace?

I'm not sure if its a pollen filter, but there is an air filter by the drivers feet. You have to pull the carpet down to the left of the clutch pedal, then you can remove the filter in two pieces. I'd advise cleaning and replacing it rather than buying a new one, as its about £60 according to my local dealer!!

If I'm not mistaken that is the Air Con filters. They should be clean with a soft brush, not water, unless the are severly clogged, then they should be replaced.
