Hi to everyone on the forum, I have browsed a fair bit in the past, but now I need some help.

I stupidly came off the road and hit a tree, the only damage to the car is the radiator, apart from that the car still drives, other than that I have damaged the bonnet, bumper, and the front crash bar, the mechanic said its worth fixing, but I sourced the parts my self on eBay for under £250.

Pictures Explain this best:

I dont think there is any chasis damage as the doors etc still clsoe perfectly.

Any advice?

sounds like you have it all in control, to be honest, and sourced all the parts. get replacing them!

maybe invest in a haynes manual, if it's easier.

oh, you'll need a new undertray as well.

At least it's not as bad as CRRP's!

What happened? Understeered off the road or...?

Well I cornered a bit to fast, thought I was going to hit a lampost, so I swerved, then swerved again in the opposite direction to compensate, and then the back span out, the car went round, until a tree stopped us.

I forgot the proper term, but I mean when you turn, start to skid, turn the other way but over compensate then suddenly the wheels grip again and flip the car round.

It happens in Top Gear a lot

Snaking?

No, Snaking's what you get when you're towing a caravan or something and it oscillates behind you, usually during certain speeds or high winds. Can be cured or at least mitigated with an anti-snake bar.

What part would you guys recommend i replace first?

I was thinking the radiator?

I'd agree; The rest is mainly the outer layers which are not critical, but you need the radiator to be able to drive it!

I just removed all the damaged outer bits, the car now makes a high pitch sqweeling/scretching noise when I his the accelerator, is this majour or just the fan belt?
