Hi Terry, it's ToyotaWorld Bristol North at Patchway, just off the M4 / M5 Interchange heading towards Bristol. I've been dealing with them since 2004 for my old Avensis, my wife's Yaris and now the HSD and I've always had nothing but excellent service. When I had a minor coming together with a bus and broke the door mirror glass, they even fitted it and touched in the slight damage on the window frame FoC.

Hope that helps, Dave.

Superb Recommend - Thanks a lot Dave - It's nice to get some positve feedback for once. Cheers TerryB

A good day at my Toyota Garage. :yahoo:

Despite my trepidation regarding my Auris’s first service [‘vis-à-vis’ the great engine oil saga as I have posted in the past on this thread] I can happily report that my dealer has heeded my past protestations and come up trumps and replenished my oil with 0W/20 grade.

I had decided not to query the issue when I handed it over for its service but to quiz them afterwards.

I was prepared to test out a couple of tank fulls with 0W/30 to gather evidence, then take it from there.

However after the formal hand back procedure, I asked the question “What oil did you put in the engine?” The reply came back quick as a flash “0W/20 Sir”

He then produced [from under the counter] an empty gold coloured Toyota oil container marked 0W/20 and pointed out a label with the job number of my service on it.

He then went on to explain that from then on the oil would be supplied from Castrol, and again from under the counter displayed a familiar green Castrol container also marked 0W/20.

What can I say? but to give the highest praise to Fish Brothers of Swindon for their courteous and professional behaviour in concluding this episode most satisfactorily for me.

So take heart fellow 0W/20 consumers, there is justice out there, but you may need to push a bit to get it. :toast:
