Hello everyone,

Hi I am new to the TOC and have just bought my very first Toyota, having had "other" makes of cars over the years and have been very disappointed either with performance and reliabilty, my first Toyota is a Corolla and is 1999 1.3 manual on a V reg, I have had the car a week and I am very happy with the money it has saved me so far, those being: Cheap insurance, Cheap Tax at £130 pounds for the year, the previous owner gave me a full service history booklet to go with the car, 4 good tyres, body work great but not mint, all for £600, my last car was a Mitsubishi Pajero Junior, which I sold to a trader for a fraction of the price it was worth, the problem with that car was that it was over £1000 for the year to insure it!!! I am 43 and have full no claims, I know someone who pays around £400 for an import so just don't get it.

Anyway I digress, I will probably ask a few questions on here so be patient as I am new :)

ps I am also a Vespa PX125 rider as well hence the name.
