Despite Everything I Said......

.......about crap Toyota dealers and the uselessness of Mr. Fonseca & his band of suits, I've gone and bought another RAV. 54 reg, 3-dr auto XT3 in Island Green. 27K miles, one owner, FTSH, 12 months Toyota warranty, Club T membership, 12 months' MOT.

Did my best to go for something else as we needed another car to cope with increasing business/work conflicts, but I kept coming back to Mr.T's products, particularly RAV's. As my (much) better half has also drooled over the "cute" 3-dr for ages now, it ended up being the obvious choice. Now to fit sidesteps, bull-bar, etc.

Neighbours think we bought it to keep the 5-dr company......see pic.

What "pic" firemac....? Keen to see what green you refer to, as wife's is Mica, and aint heard of your green before. Before spending lots on side steps, I have a very clean pair of the chrome SIDE TUBES "in stock" at a very favourable price (collection only from Scotlandshire though) with any funds going to charity.

Please don't ask me to post photos....have tried Photobucket / transfer t'forum, aided by knowledgable members....total failure thus far (help....new Sony camera conflicturisation...?)

'Fraid not, Webz min....only these 4.2 tubes for the 3 door model in particularly guid nick.....30k miles only, with 2 new plastic bung ends at £13.00 each from some Welsh Toyota Dealer....!!!!

Thanks for the offer Big Kev, but I want sidesteps not tubes as the steps seem to keep all the road crap off the bottom half of the car. we have had them on the 5-dr for years and they work a treat.

Here's the photo - hopefully. I've seen several 4.2 Ravs on the Toyota website and all the greens a re either Kielder or Island.

You're quite right, Firemac....in absolute honesty, that's why they are off wife's 3 door in favour of a good second hand pair of steps bought off eBay....they really do keep down the shuch on the doors as I posted before.the tar and gunge on the underside of these steps was a sight to behold.....good luck in your search, and only second time I have seen that green colour. There's a well scabby one Ive seen around Glasgow City Centre....must be a teacher or doctor going by the dirt on it.

I believe my green goes by the exotic name of Rainforest Pearl but thats the only thing exotic around here except the goldfish and the chinese takeaway!!!
