I am due to get my new 08 Yaris SR 1.8 VVT-i this weekend thus wondering if you guy answering a few questions that i have.

My 08 model doesn't appear to have Parking sensors, can these be retro fitted at a Toyota dealership and how much would it be?

Also, mine doesn't appear to have the Sat-Nav on the dash, just wondering when were these introduced in the SR? were they standard or an extra? I am not bothered about that as I have a Tom Tom.

Thanks for all your help!

the 1.8 never had sat nav, only the 2008> 1.3 and 1.4 D4D SR did.

And all Yaris parking sensors are a retro-fit accessory - even if you specify them on a new car - they're either fitted by the importer or the dealer before you collect it.

So yes, you can retorfit them - either by going to your Toyota dealer or by buying the Toyota kit and finding a trusted third-party to fit them...

Toyota even post the fitting instructions of all accesories on the internet.....

Ah cool, will drive down and order a set if not too expensive.

And might as well get some stone chip fixed too when they are at it lol
