Celica Motor Help

I have a 94 celica that after 200 miles finally blew a rod and well I need a new motor can anyone point me in the best direction? I don't need anything fancy so preferably the cheapest I could get?

Thats where i would look. I would expect a 3S-GE (assuming you have a 2.0 GT) to go for about £200-300.

Thank you so much I had wondered about eBay I just guess I wanted to check and see what ya'll thought.

Wow just checked eBay and the cheapest I could find was 2,000 dollars! I thought they would be cheaper than that....guess I'll keep looking.

This is where it could get very complicated.

3s with the 2 litre engine or the 2.2 5S engine?

Shipping is going to be a very big cost, so the save weight it could be cost effective to only get sent a short block.

Another option would be to fit the V6 3.0 from a Camry. I'm not sure what the local laws are like about engine swaps on your side of the pond.

As for your location, you should be able to change that in your personal settings/profile bit.
