I have an Avensis 1.6 aura 2000

just want to know if anyone can help, my prob is that when i lock hard on my steering i notice sometimes it feels like the wheel is stuck the steering wheel feels tight

you can hear the powersteering just feel its not right im afraid something might go or i end up with no control ???
