Bluetooth Phone Compatilibity

Hello.

My wife has an '08 Auris SR180 (loves it)equipped with satnav/bluetooth.

Her aged Nokia connects perfectly by BT but she is unable to load the phonebook to

the car as the phone does not seem to have the facility.

I have read that only certain phones are compatible with Toyota satnav/bluetooth.

Is there a list of compatible phones available anywhere?

I've searched here and googled but can't find it.

Her phone is on the way out, so we might as well get a new one that will work with her car.

The most commonly mentioned phone that struggle to pair is the iPhone.

No idea why, considering that so many people rate them to be the best phone available, but most people with one have problems, and blame Toyota for the issue.

I think it depends by which kind of bluetooth device you have installed in your car. I own a tns510 and it works great with my DesireHD but also iPhone is fully supported by many devices.
