Clunk - transmission or exhaust or what?

I'm considering used RAV4, 132k miles; but it makes heavyish clunk on accelerating/decelerating (only at low speeds). Any idea what it might be?

the rear diff mounts get weak with old age and high milage.....get some to lie down beside and watch the diff movement as you try to pull away, if you are lucky you will see the diff almost jump out of its mounts and go up through the floor!!!
