Holy Cow!! I've always said a man can't have too many tools but I may be re-thinking that now. I love that one commenter who said he wouldn't bid on the lot unless it came with the "two-tone left handed cornflake magnet!" Good luck finding that one in the Snap-On catalog!!

Nah, D....mine were all Snap-On copies, which he let fall through the radio aperture whilst changing my oil filter.

Ah suppose that makes my spanners Drop Forged....?

Professional mechanics like Snap-On because they are superb quality and come with a lifetime warranty. If any Snap-On hand tool breaks or fails to give the owner total satisfaction it will be replaced with a new one--no questions asked.

'Fraid the toolbox here is full of Kamasa stuff bought via the local farm supplies coop. They do the job and usually only let go when misused. What my mate calls strap-on tools (can't think why)run out a bit pricey for taking the chainsaw to bits

I was going to make some more dried fruit references, but then I thought it would be like rubbing sultana wound.

Owning spanners could be a raisin d'etre though.

You have to wonder how someone has so much kit to sell. The only reason that I can think of is it is a Freelander owner who has traded up to a RAV and doesn't need all the tools anymore. Wonder if he is going to sell the trailer that he carried them round in?
