Tyre Availability

My wive had a run in with a big bit of concrete laying on an intown dual carriage way last night and ruined one of the tyres.

I'm amazed about the lack of availability of Michelin Primacy HP 215/45R17 around here. I phone 5 places (of which two costco's) and for everyone it is a special order one.

You could possibly try your local Toyota dealer

They are quite likely to have stock or at the very least be able to get stock within a day

Sorry I guess I wasn't clear ;-) I can get it for Tuesday which I have ordered. I was just surprised that nobody stocks these tyres.

Local dealer is not open on a Sunday, so no help after a blowout on a Saturday night.

Look at www.etyres.co.uk I got one from them a few weeks ago. Price includes mobile fitting.

I had 215/45/17s on my old Avensis and I always had to order tyres. Apparently, it's a weird size, even though they're fitted to Scooby Doo WRXs as standard. D.
