project 1

changing rear disc and calipers, and what a challenge that was i have changed many brakes in my time but this job took me around 3hrs due to the positioning of the caliper bracket bolts especially the side with the exhaust any job done found some discs for 45 quid and pads for 25 quid so pretty happy with that, one caliper was sticking on making an awfull noise before the change but after winding the piston back in and bleeding all round seems to be fine but i will keep an eye on it, i should have taken step by step photos just in case any novices fancy having a go them selves and saving a fortune.

my next project will be faultfinding on 02 sensor using obdII faultcode scanner and a volt meter then replacing the faulty sensor which i have sourced for 28 quid bit cheaper than usual 90 quid i have been advised not to use cheap ones but iam thinking it has a 12 month gaurantee and its a fairly quick job so gonna run with it.

I did my discs and pads all round on my T-180 using MTEC drilled and groved discs and mintex pads. The rears were a pain with the inner parking shoes. The lining came off mine and the retaining spring broke, So had to buy a full kit from Mr T(£44) for a 10p spring and replace the parking inner hub shoes.

But all done and they look grat and stop the car very well unlike the original set up
