New To Rav4 Ownership

Hi all,

Decided to sell my run of the mill A4 Sline as baby on the way and found a really nice Rav4, it's the 2.0VVti 4x4 XT3 model in silver. 1 owner from new, full service, warrenty and all that good stuff. I live in south bucks and have been caught out by the snow a few times now. How will the Rav4 handle snow any one used theres in snow ? Should I look to change the tires from the Duellers currently all round to something like A/T tyre or for example go crazy and fit the Yoko Geolander. (Dont they look awsome, but are they any good ??).

Are there any clubs where you can go along with other Rav4 owners and take them off road ? Are they any good off road ? I dont want to be a typical owner and just poodle around town in mine, I'd like to at least try a little off road driving.

So ant ideas anyone, give me a shout and lets see what Rav4's are all about.

Cheers Mark.

Welcome to the forum.

The car is very good in snow and quite capable in soft off-roading. You should find some off-roading clubs nearby, or perhaps one of the members here will suggest some - try posting the question in the RAV4 section.
