yeah im gonna let some out tonight, does anyone know if what it says on the tyre is the maximum?

what are the risks of having close to the max air in the tyres? does the thread wear more? does the mpg change?

cheers

If the tyres are over inflated then you'll get wear in the centre of the tyre. If they are under inflated you'll get it on the outer edges of the tyre. Under inflated means that the side walls (Weakest part of the tyre) are put under great load and can get very hot and a "Blow out" can occure.

Somewhere on the body part of your car should give you different tyre sizes and inflation details. Usually found on the drivers side door shut, or the fuel filler cap.
