Paseo Immobiliser/alarm Problem

hello everyone, I disconnected my Battery from my Paseo ST '96 a couple of months ago. Now I have re connected, I think my immobiliser needs to be re synched? to the fob. I have three buttons on the fob (the left is used to open the doors) I also have a small three pronged thingy that can fit into something on the dash by the side of the steering wheel. there is a light on there. i can also get a light on when i press any of the fob buttons. I havent a clue what to do after pressing so many combinations.The Battery is fully charged. then i find a toyota forum.I hope this forum can help me out with this! thanks for reading. j
