Temperature Ligh Red Flashing

I have just installed a new radiator into my yaris aswell as rebuilding most of the front end.

My problem now is that the over heating indicator comes on, but it blinks instead of being solid, what does this mean?

The radiator works, ive seen the fan kick in, and steam come out of the radiator when the cap is off...

I have fitted a denso radiator, I dont think my old radiator was denso, could this be the problem?

Also on a side note, my car gitters (the steering wheel jumps left to right as I drive) would this be axle damage or caused by the bent wheel rim?

Thanks!

I am geussing that there is temperature sensor and that this maybe faulty. Or it could be air in the system. You can try running it for a short while with the cap off and see it helps releive trapped air. (got a feeling its going to be more the first idea than the second

Overheating blinking? You need to bleed the cooling system of air. Get engine warm. Switch off. Remove radiator cap. Wear thick gloves and repeatedly press and release the big upper and lower radiator hoses... this "should" expel air from system.

Take care: coolant is hot. Wear overalls and safety glasses to be safe.

Check level, top up and refit cap.Restart engine run again and try again.

Note: removing a radiator cap on a hot engine is dangerous. Wait 5 mins after engine has stopped and do it VERY slwoly.. wear gloves and keep face well away...

If that fails, it may be a sensor.. Try first as this costs nothing.

Steering? bent suspension arm? Bent steering arm? You should check tracking at once.

Dangerous..If you don't know how to inspect suspension, find a garage who will..

You are surely not driving on a buckled wheel?

I will try it all tommorow, I have tried removing air before, and well I went down the road to see how she was running
