How Much Power Should I Expect From The Air Vents

I have just had my aircon regassed but it is not as cold as I was expecting. I was told by the independant fitter (kwik fit) that the air didnt seem to be coming out of the vents fast enough which did seem a fair point I have to say.

Should there be a gale blowing when the power on my t3-x is turned to full and if so, are there any suggestions as to why mine has lost power?

Thanks

Bet they didn't change your pollen/cabin filter craggy....? Not done for ages means it could come out of its wee slot absolutely manky....cheap and cheerful dead easy thing to check. Only vacuum it as a temporary measure....fit a new one and air volume should increase via vents (unless fan knackered...you don't want that, mate...£££)

Thanks for the advice. Am I right in thinking the pollen/cabin filter is the one behind the glove box?

Surely is, mate, and dead easy to check. Instructions are posted I am sure on Avensis site somewhere, but deffo on the Rav 4 site.(Same idea.) Filters are directional, so make sure arrow on old and replacement, if necessary, points in correct direction.

If not been done furra while, be prepared for a wee shock....did a friend's recently, which resembled Fleming's discovery of penicillin....

Definitely the POLLEN FILTER. I had the exact same problem in my COROLLA and as soon as it was changed it blowed air out like a hurricane. The Pollen filter is located behind the Glovebox and you can remove it yourself with a screwdriver thats it.

My filter cost me £8 and I couldnt be any happier now :D
