Mudflaps?

Don't think I've ever noticed mudflaps on the Yaris.

Mine hasn't got them but it could do with some cos I can't seem to drive down the road without flicking every bit of dirt the tyres have ever been in contact with all over the back of my car.

Has anyone got 'em - do they look ok, or has anyone already bought 'em as extras - where from, and how much?

Ta very muchly.

Cheers - got my eye on some on eBay now - more expensive than I was hoping though!

They only look fairly small too which is good - I had a horrible feeling they'd be the big rubber flappy things that trail on the ground.

Funny thing is, some people have confused the back of the yaris with mudflaps for a bodykit... weird.

Nice one. They look pretty good. Do they keep the back of your car clean? Mine gets filthy after every single trip.

i have that problem!

the rest of the car can be relatively clean but the back end is ditched!

Doh! I didn't they looked like they'd stop much dirt flying up.

So really I've got two options. Drive round with the boot open - the inside will be filthy but when I park up and close the boot, it'll be nice and shiny - oooh, that'd negate the crappy rear wiper too.

Orrrr...

Drive veerrrry slloooooowwwlly everywhere.

I'm liking the clingfilm idea. I could put a few layers on and just peel one off each day.

All cars with a "square" backend get covered in crap easily.

Rear of the car when driving is a very low pressure area, so

all the crap literally gets pulled back in.

Exactly the reason why you should open your windows in any car if your driving the the hatch open...as the fumes get sucked back in side.

I think rear mudflaps are pretty pointless on the Yaris, Fronts at least deflect all the grit and crap away from the side body pannals. Don't think there avalaible yet on the TS, due to the sideskirts..correct me if i'm wrong though...been a Year since I last asked.
