Window Crank On 85 Toyota Corolla?

Hi,

I was in an accident about a year and a half ago. The passenger, driver side door of my 85 Toyoya Corolla was dented in quite a bit. I've finally decided to try and bang out the dent myself.

For the life of me, I can't figure out how to remove the window crank, so I can get access to the area behind the panneling. I read an article that said to take a rag, and pull back and forth behind the window crank to release the the window crank clip. I've tried and tried, but I can't seem to get this to work.

Any ideas or help would be appreciated.

Thanks!
