1989 Celica

Y es I would like to know if I can take a V6 out of a 1989 camry and put it in a 1989 celica. What would I have to do to get the computer to work from the camry to the celica. Would the motor fit? And Would the computergo into the socket in the celica Or is there an adapter out there. That I can get. Thanks for the help. clifbarn

That sounds like an interesting swap. Dont see any reason that the engine wont fit, you have a much bigger bay than the mr2 and there's a guy on one of the mr2 forums putting the same unit in his car. Maybe a trawl round the mr2 forums would be a good idea you could contact him and swap ideas.
