Engine Oil Centrifuge

I want to connect a 20(Imp)Gal/hr @55psi centrifugal oil filter to the vacuum pump oil discharge fitting of a '5L' motor. The concerns I have are whether the pump will be adversely affected by the back pressure, and is there enough flow to operate the filter? I know I can sort the drain out easily enough OR I have to drill out the oil light switch hole and tap it 1/4" BSPT to get a good enough flow to run it. The filter has a threshold opening pressure of ~28psi. Rotor discharge holes are 2 @ 1mm dia ea + 2 bronze plain bearings with no play. Oil is Penrite Diesel oil 20W60, @ motor temp or less.
