Prius Taxi In Southampton

Saw a white gen3 taxi in Southampton at the weekend. It was a proper southampton cab and not an out of towner so looks like the word is getting round.

They have been for a while.... Toronto and Vancouver have loads and I saw a gen 2 in Nottingham yesterday... I'll have to look around for something else, there are getting to be as many Prius around as Mondeo's. no longer unique...

GOOD! The more the merrier I say because the more of them there are the better our air quality will be which I am all for.

Same here... When I got my Prius there must have been other people buying it as well... now I see them everywhere, but so far none in my color, and it still makes heads turn...

I did though see a Suzuki Swift, Izusu D-max in the same color... so it's picking up here.

I would like to see the taxis change to Prius, but at the moment most drive Toyota Corolla with LPG.

I'm on the verge of buying a well specc'd used Prius as a day to day car, my weekend car will then be my Citroen XM series 1. It's got a bit of peeling lacquer but certainly stands out from the crowd.
