Software Springs And Steering

Bought my IQ a week or so ago and immediately changed the wheels to 18's Then Wednesday decided to have lower springs fitted.Had the 25mm ones from toyota. when I took it in it required a software update with reference to the steering column. When I got it back it felt like a completely different car!!! Firstly I was expecting the ride to be very hard feeling all the bumps etc. To my surprise the ride is far far better than it was when i bought it last week. The steering is very tight and responsive,but above all the performance is worlds apart. There is a very obvious power band and it really shifts, My guess is the software upgrade wasn't only for the steering but it feels like it has a different map in the ECU. Really happy with it

I thought that too when I had mine done some months ago, but was told it only affects the steering and no ecu changes are included. Hard to believe though!
