Maf Cleaned And Mpg Improved On D4D

Hi All,

Just thought I'd post that after getting info of forum I went off to Halfords and bought

some electrical contact cleaner and whipped out the MAF sensor and gave it a good clean.

It was a little coated in soot but not too bad. Anyway since this my MPG has really improved.

Got 50MPG out of the last diesel I put in and it was more like 40 before.

Anyone know why the trip computer is saying 66MPG average but I actual get 50?

putting in a can fo BG 244 next fill up to see what that does.

I would take the trip meter with a pinch of salt.
