Mr2 Engine Management Lights

new to this forum

I've had the engine management light on in my MR2 Roadster for the last 2 years, and just had it checked by a Toyota garage today. They tell me the 2 oxygen sensors need replaced at a cost of £300.

I dont have that sort of money, and want to sell the car anyway

Can I sell it privately despite having the engine management light on? It's never affected the performance of the car in the 3.5 years I've had it

look around and get the O2 sensors from else where they can be had for about £60 each

The code is p0136. They want £287 to replace the oxygen sensors

Im sure the fault code is just for one sensor, bank 1 sensor 2,
