4.2 Arch Extensions

Hi folks,

I want to fit a set of arch extensions to our 5dr Rav4 4.2. I am looking for the stick on type, not the ones that require holes drilled into the wings.

I think the part numbers are PZ415-X2402-AA / PZ415-X2402-1A one for the 3dr and the other for the 5dr.

Googling these part numbers brings up mainly foregin sites (Russia, Poland etc)

Is there a source for these arches in the UK?

Toyota tech docs have very good fitting instructions for these, so I just need to find and set am I'm sorted !

Cheers

Hi Ciaran....top of the evening to ya...

Our usual source on Rav 4 Forum is a chappie called Kingo or Parts King (same person...split personality...don't ask.)

If you send him a PM (Personal Message), he will probably have read this anyway....give him your registration and he normally gets back to you within a year or two.

I don't know if the official Toyota ones require much drilling or not, but seem to recall one aging member hereon saying or paying 800GBP...!!!! After that, if you already have mudflaps, these become frisbees, as they don't fit over the flared arches what which you wish to fit.

Hope this of some assistification,

Big Kev

Hi Big Kev, thanks for the reply.

Ouch! £800 !! I don't think I'll be buying them at that price.

Have a look at this, -FENDER PROTECTOR 5D these are the one I want.

They are slimmer than the factory fit versions and much easier to fit too.

Going by memory, Frank (and as you see, my memory's not great.... )this was Mr.T supply, fit, paint price, hence the ridicilousity of the total. SR180 came fitted as standard, as did wife's "Granite" 3 door....I would have gone without. Davrav link shows a Rav in 4.2 guise picture.
