Lift Bolt Replacement Gone Wrong

Hi people have a 2000 vvtli celica and I tried to change my lift bolts this morning and found the inlet bolt broken, I tried the drilling method and that didn't work as I found out later on the shaft had turned slightly and I drilled into that oops ow well, iv stripped it all done using toyotas method and get the rest off the bolt out but I am unble to turn the rocker shaft nor nock it back in just want to know if anyones had this problem before?
