Hi guys

Dont think this is true! Hi, I was just wondering if it was possible to programme the door locks on the Prius Tspirit 2011 to automatically lock once you start driving? Was a nice feature on previous cars and helps to prevent unwanted thefts when stopped at traffic lights.

Thanks,

Jim

Hi Jim,

Yes, you can have this setting programmed by technicians at your local Toyota Centre. Once there you have a choice of three options, it can be:

- set to lock once you reach a certain speed when driving,

- set to lock whenever you engage drive and being to move away,

- or it can be turned off altogether.

Hope that has helped, and if you would like to find your local Toyota Centre,

I wasn't aware of any of those options... Afaik the only option in the UK is the reversing beep on or off.

You are right. Those options are not available in the UK. The only option is reverse beep on continuous or on single beep.

I went through all of that with my dealer when I got my car.
