When I bought my new Yaris T Spirit the pressures were 30 psi F 30 psi B, the book says 36 psi F 32 psi B what pressures do you have in yours, it tends to be a bit more of a hard ride with higher pressures.

I'm currently on 38psi front and 32 rear, but that's mainly for economy.

Officially the pressures on mine should be 30/30 IIRC (Unless I am going to be driving over 100mph, which frankly isn't something I'd make a habit of in a Yaris for several reasons )

We run both ours on 32F 30R. I find 30/30 gives a bit much understeer. Never tried much higher pressure: too many potholes here...

Yeah, the ride is a lot firmer on higher pressures; I must admit I sometimes wonder what affect it has on my shocks!

I do find the steering response to be a lot more positive on higher pressures tho', and you can lift off and coast for ages, esp. on the motorway :yahoo:

I keep mine at 33/33. It seems to give comfortable ride and really good economy. At the moment it is showing 49.9 mpg.

Where do you get the idea that the official pressures should be 30/30 front & rear?

I don't recall ever seeing that for a Yaris.

Our "mk1" was 33 f and 30r. My 2008 manual shows an assortment of pressures - 32/32 for 1.0 with 14" wheels, 35/32 for a 1.0 on 15" wheels, 33/32 for a 1.3 and 35/32 for a diesel (all the above for driving "up to" 100mph).

33F/32R on ours because that's what the manufacturer states it should be.
