Need Some Info On Old Carina Urgently

Hi. Just bought an old Carina E Charisma and need to know some relevant info for insurance purposes.

Need to know if it has an alarm and/or immobiliser. My guess is 'no' to the latter as it only has a normal key, not one with buttons. But would like some advice to clarify this. It's a 4 door saloon, 1587cc. 1st registered 20/1/1995.

Alarms can still be set using a normal key when you lock the door.

Do you have a Red flashing LED on the dash?

I would say you have a Factory fitted alarm/Immobiliser as standard, most decent Insurance Co's would know what is standard or not. I know both of my GLi's had alarms.
