Best Tyre Choice For 4.3 With17's

Hi, just had MOT and I have 3 tyres at 4-5mm and 1 at 3mm so will be buying a new set of 4 tyres before this winter.

I can't stretch to a winter set and a summer set so they will haves to be all rounders.

What are your recommendations for a mid price tyre, hopefully about £120 a corner?

Also, is it possible to to go slightly larger, say 235s and is it worth it?

Thanks,

Ben.

It depends on how you normaLLY USE THE CAR, AND THEN HOW YOU FORECAST THE WINTER MIGHT BE IN YOUR AREA. i USE fALKEN 470S i THINK AND THEY BARE FINE FOR WHAT i DO.

I drive it all year round on normal roads. The snow isn't usually as bad down here as it is oop north or in Scotland and the present tyres did fine this winter so I think an all season tyre would be best choice...

I've got the standard Yokohama Geolander G91 on the front and they are good.. Excellent in the wet too.

Youre alternative is to go for somehting a bit more offroady like the Geolander G012 ATS tyre. Rambler i think uses them and swears by them.

Weblers, from your recent experience I think floats and a prop would be more appropriate than any kind of tyre

Hello, I've Dunlop engergy savers on mine, wouldn't recommend as there are not cheap, they are loud, and save like 80 litre ore their life. Doesn,t pay off. Tire rack do great reviews of tires, also be care full with the more aggressive off road tires as they can be much louder
