2001 D4D Egr Valve Clean - Parts Needed ?

Hi all

With the help of the excellent photos, am about to attempt to clean the EGR valve on my 2001 D4D. Can anyone suggest what parts I will need (gaskets special tools etc), and where I can get them (cheap....!)

Hi,

You wont need any special tools to do the job. Just a socket set and away you go. You can buy the gaskets on eBay if you need some. But if you're carful you'll be able to use the old set. There were a few sellers on Fleabay selling a "Brand new genuine" EGR valve and gaskets for £130! Bargin... Thats what I paid for mine with a pipe an all... Take a search you might just get a bargin
