Mark11 Yaris T Spirit Tom-Tom Blanking Plate

hi elsware in this forum there was a posting regarding a blanking plate that goes in the hole that's left if the tom-tom is removed.The post said that is available from Toyota dealers for £17.

When I contacted Romford Toyota today they said that they had never heard of this part.Can anybody else shed light on this as I have always been concerned obout having a removable sat nav on show and it won't look so obvious that something has been removed from the dash.The guy at the Toyota dealer did during our conversation say that he had to order one of these removable satnavs and that they cost a whopping £750 ..something of a rip off I think

An audio blanking plate for the TNS 410 system is certainly available because I ordered one from my local Toyota dealership.

Here is a quote from another Yaris owner who put me on to it. Cost is about £17.00

"Toyota and TomTom don't make the part number for the TNS410 Audio Cover easy to find. I contacted my Toyota dealer spares dept, Westover in Salisbury, and a real ace contacted Toyota in Japan to find the part no. and price. What a result ...Audio Cover - PtNo.PZ422-E0331-03 cost £17.56 inc vat. Collected mine today and the car now looks great even without the satnav in place!!

I just quoted the part number and the rest was easy - apart from paying!
