:help: I,m sure I have read of someone attempting to install a Lexus V8 engine onto an MR2 Turbo Gearbox.

I am looking to do the same on a one-off special I am contemplating building at the moment. Has anyone any info or pointers to help me on my quest?

I remember vaguly hearing about this, I think it has been done, though I'm afraid I really don't know any details. I think it was part of a ralley set up by Toyota.....

I suspect it requires some sort of adapter plate. Are you thinking about fitting one in an MR2 engine bay? Not sure on the dimensions of the engine, but I would imagine it would be a tight fit.
