Toyota Yaris Engine Issues?

Hi guys,

Basically I have a 52 plate yaris. I bought it with the head gasket blown. I then bought an engine for the car but cant get it to start.

The yaris I have is a 'French' model. And the ****** on eBay sent an Japanese engine. So I need an engine loom for a Toyota Yaris ASAP please.

If you ordered a French engine, send the Japanese one back.

You'll need a French ECU.. I suspect the looms are very similar if not identical.... I have no idea if the other system - eg ABS are compatible.

Much easier to get the correct engine.

I have decided to get the old head gasket reconditioned on the old engine to get it up and running.

This is much easier as with the Jap engine I needed an ECU and different engine looms. Unfortunately the guy won't take no returns back.

So I guess if anyone wants a Yaris engine with 1 months warranty it's up for grabs. Btw I have the ECU for this present also, just need the engine looms
