Tvss Iv-D Key Fob Wont Lock The Car

Hi

I have a Rav4 2001, 3 dr with the TVSS IV-D system. Great for 2 years.

Last night, i could not unlock the car, after numerous attempts, it unlocked.

I can no longer lock it, the key in the door will not lock it. I was going to just replace the Battery, but this issue (Key cant lock it) concerns me.

When pressing the fob, the red light does flash.

So, i have a car that is unlocked at the moment....

HELP !

well, i changed the Battery and hey presto... worked.. strange the key wouldnt manually lock.
