Bluetooth Issue When Shutting Off The Engine

Hello. I have trouble with the bluetooth of my Auris in 2008 VVTI Sol. When I stop the engine, bluetooth starts talking, he said "setting menu" before the ODB stops. When I connected to my bluetooth phone its worse because it will redial the last number ... It is a auris that has the start button, I do not know if it can be related to the problem.

Someone has already encountered this issue? A solution? I'm afraid that by going to the garage, they'll change all the onboard computer just for that, or do not know ...

What phone are you using?

If it's an iPhone, then most Toyota BT systems don't communicate with Iphone's very well, so that may be the issue.

Nha , it's an android. Xperia Arc... But i also have the issue the phone disconnected with "setting menu" , when stop the engine...

This one is a known issue & a software update is required for the bluetooth system. Contact your local dealer to get it updated

The dealer said last tuesday that he going to recall me after searching if there are updates on auris... And : Nothing.

I was the head mechanic of my garage that I reiterated that there is no update for the bluetooth module ... The only thing to do was change the whole module but that it might do the same

I believe you when you say that there is an update, but I would need the items and devon aygo not responding. Someone else would have?

My toyota dealer wants to replace the handsfree bluetooth system but it's not covered by my used car toyota garantee... So i let you imagine the price of the box...

If you have a tip I'm interested. This problem is really annoying ... People are always surprised when I turn off my engine ... And hello to the reactions and mockery like "not perfect your new car."

You can't guarantee something and then not guarantee it.

Hello Farika.

I had this same problem with my auris which I bought back in April.It was a used car but came from a Toyota dealer with a 1 year Toyota warranty.My bluetooth was reacting the same as yours and was replaced under the warranty no problems.Is your warranty with Toyota if so they should replace it.
