Bhp Wheels To Fly Wheel

This is a hypothetical thing, transmission losses are not a known constant, so any figure would be an estimate at best, any sort of gear train induces all sorts of frictional losses due to gear meshing and bearing loadings, there are also CV joint losses to take into account. The losses could vary from car to car of the same make purely due to the different wear rates caused by different driving habits.

Sorry this is not what you want to hear.

Are you trying to work out a flywheel figure after a dyno run?

It depends on the car, if its front engined rwd for example... Got to take into acount those long driveshafts etc, but assuming all the running gear is in perfect working order then u need find someone in the know!!! errr what i mean is that for example, ive herd from a few sources that my car looses around 33% from the f/w to the wheels... so i just use that as a bassis

That's huge! Imagine you've got a 150HP engine, you'll only have 100HP at the wheels?
