Stereo Replacement Concern

Hi everyone,

Just bought a 2nd hand SR180 (09 58 plate)...I have figured out how to pair my phone up with the bluetooth system now (holding mode button down on steering wheel) and got my phone connected to my car via bluetooth.

I have also noticed (as it seems everyone else has) that the stereo system is absolutely awful and needs replacing as soon as possible lol, fortunately I kept my aftermarket JVC DAB unit from my old car ready to fit into my new one. I am limited in knowledge on bluetooth and it's interaction with the stereo...I know that it mutes it and that is about my lot. My old aftermarket unit does not have bluetooth installed, but I have something already in there...mic on ceiling and buttons on steering wheel.

If i replace my stereo will I lose the bluetooth?

I believe JVC sell a bluetooth adaptor...will I need this to get bluetooth woring again after installation?

I have already ordered a set off of eBay with fascia, ISO lead and stalk/steering wheel adaptor for Auris to JVC.....will this be all I need?

Appreciate any help that you can offer - no probs fitting the stereo, clueless on the bluetooth though as you may have already picked up :)

B Rgds

Dave
