Hi i have got a avensis 57 plate d4d tspirit with around 93k on clock

Its done motorway mileage and full dealer service history

Its been parked up for a few months and have started it now and it is smoking and the engine managment and VSC lights are on :-(

Any suggestion!!!

Sounds like the EGR valve is sooted/carboned up. But I wouldn't try to clean it yet! Get it down to the main dealers as there is a 7 year 112k extended warranty on the head gasket. You could end up with a new engine costing in the region of £6500! But how long that will last is another matter! as I think my 2nd T-180 new engine may have had a head going on it again. So its down to the dealer for me asap,

A lot of us on here use BG244 in the fuel.
