Exchange Gear Oil Interval

Hi!

I just heard that the manual gear oil on toyota auris 1.6 -08 shall be exchanged at the 60000km or 37282miles service. Is this correct? I have tried to find a service protocol on internet on the car but havent found any.

I just didnt know that the gear oil was exchanged so frequently on a rather new model. I live in Sweden in europe if the exchange intervals may differ in diffrent countries.

Your gearbox oil does not require changing only the level checked,which i think is evey 4 year.the oil is only changed if the car is used in very severe conditions.
