Toyota Avensis Verso 2.0Cc Auto/manual Engine

They don't make it easy do they!

For anyone else who has a Toyota Avensis Verso 2.0vvti engine model.

Sitting inside the car in the drivers seat looking at the engine the parts numbers are as follows.

Top right 89467-42020 Gold

Top left 89467-44030 Light blue

Bottom right 89465-44060 Blue

Bottom left 89565-44050 Peach

Engine malfunction light came on and I checked all of these sensors by putting a multimeter across the

two black wires. Three were reading 16ohms whilst the fourth was reading 150. Without a code reader

I am hence assuming that this one is dud.....either that or the other three have gone kaput!

If you have such a car you will understand when you look at the engine as to whether it is a top or

bottom sensor and also if it's still the original part it may still have the original coloured tape

on the lead from the sensor to the plug.

Just hope I'm right that it is the sensor that has gone!
