Going on from my earlier posting about the 1.8 Vmatic or 2.0 diesel, does the 2.0 litre diesel suffer the same problems as the 2.2 (EGR / head gaskets etc)

I don't want to buy into something which is more problematic than I currently have with my T180

Hello mate, as far as I am aware the 2.0d4d does not have the same problems with the head gasket but the EGR remains the same, it will also be more economical on fuel though.

Took the plunge and paid the deposit on a 5000 mile 60 plate 2.0 Tourer !!!!!!!!!!

^^^^^^to the above the 2.0 d4d DOES suffer from head gasket problems......as it as been said in lots of posts
