Bluetooth Toyota Verso Tr 2009 Model

I had a radio changed which was still under warranty. I paired my mobile to the car radio via bluetooth.

I noticed only the left side passenger car speaker come on but not the right. This seems odd when it is a right hand drive car. Besides this I have not noticed this when my mobile was connected to the old radio. I am sure it was not on the left side before or maybe the sound came from the right before or it came on both Speakers.

Have they given me a radio which was not meant for Toyota Verso but a Yaris (From Yaris forum I read that's how it is). Can someone please confirm that even for recent Toyota Verso models thats how the bluetooth works only from the left speaker.

I'll need to test my car tomorrow, but I'm pretty sure that the sound should come out of the right speaker (just like sat nav instructions).

Have you tried contacting the dealer that did the work?

Thanks for the reply. Toyota still claims for my model the bluetooth operates from the left speaker and before the radio change I am convince it came from the right? What can I do? Can you check yours for sure and advice me if possible how to get it working on the right again. Mine is a Sep 2009 model a new generation one and they still insits mine works from the left. I have driven this car for nearly two years and knows my left from right Speakers but they say otherwise!

I can confirm the sound should come out of the right speaker only.

Looks like the dealer thinks you have a left hand dive car!

I would get onto them if I was you
