Tomorrow I'm ordering some bits for the car. TRD stainless steel hoses which are a must have  And some KYB shocks, gas fronts and adjustable gas rears, we sell em at work but I've never used em before. From what I've heard they're good quality, just wanted some opinions. Bear in mind I'll have my staff discount so any other manufacturer would have to be exceptional

Alright mate. When i replaced my shocks last year for my starlet sr (might be different for yours) i used fensport, my options were koni top adjustable shocks (£90 per shock fronts, 70 rear) and KYB shocks (£50 fronts per shock, £35 rear) and i opted for the cheaper option the KYB's. Personally i found them a bit soft, not much different to the standards, with lots of body roll and regreted it from the start. I'm now opting for coilovers as i want to go really low. I hav'nt seen the whole model range for KYB so they might be different but my personal experience is that they are no different to stadard shocks. In fact i think they are the standard suspension company that toyoya uses but i might be wrong. TOBY

Well, Fensport rang today, apparently the hoses they emailed me about are not TRD but Black Diamond :( They can get the TRD ones but they're £200 + vat

Just went for the cheaper option as I kerbed one of my alloys today and had to order one of them aswell

If you really want TRD the part number of their Japanese site is 47031-EP910

Toby, to be honest its been lowered 40mm with stiffened springs and the ride is a bit harsh so just wanna put new ones on to even the bumps a little ;)

You're right about KYB they're standard fitment on quite a few vehicles, but the rears are their twin tube design offering better damping than standard, I didn't order the adjustable ones in the end as they're not remote adjust
