Whats A Senior Citizen

A senior citizen is,

one who was here before;

the pill,television,frozen foods,contact lenses,credit cards and man walked on the moon.

For us,time sharing meant togethernes,not holiday homes,and a chip was what you had with fish,or a piece of wood.

We got married first,then lived together,and thought cleaverage was something butchers did.

A stud was something that fastened a collar to a shirt,and going all the way was staying on a bus to to the bus depot.

We thought fast foods was what you ate in lent,a Big Mac was an oversized rain coat and crumpet we had for tea.

In our day grass mown,pot was something you cooked in,coke was kept in the coal house and a joint was cooked on Sunday.

We are todays SENIOR CITIZENS.a hardy bunch when you think how the world has changed,though not for the better.

Absolutely true, Mate :thumbsup:

I don't know how the Whippersnappers of today will manage without us. Our 2 Countries are in bad enough shape since they have taken over.

Used to be that the Elders of the tribe were heeded for their hard earned wisdom & treated with veneration & respect :rolleyes:

Wait till Raist sees this! :eek:
