Toyota Emina Lucida Import

hi bought could anyone please help a 1998 r reg toyota emina lucida import drove up m6 70mph after a hour flashing oil pressure light came on. i slowed to 60 and light went off afer a min b4 i could pull over so carried on going at 60-65 til a hit 70 again down hill started flashing again dropped to 60 as short distence to junction checked under front passenger seat at dipstick shows at high mark. its a r reg 1998 but registered in uk 2009 any ideas what prob is just bought it thanks stu

I had this issue with my emina, on the motorway doing 70mph or so, the oil light would flash and go off only when I slowed down for a while. My problem was there there was slightly too much oil in her. It happened a couple of times and always after an oil change!
