Burning Smell

Hi everyone

Picked up an 08 plate SR180 today. I am very pleased with the car but I have noticed a burning smell when I stop and get out. Its intermittent and I think its the DPF (if the Auris has one???) burning excess soot. The car is a low millage (20,000) for its age so I suspect the drive home may have been its first decent motorway run for some time.

Is this something to worry about and has anyone else had this. Other than that I love the car.
