Parking Sensors Problem

Greetings from Greece,

I start this thread, because I think I have a problem with my Auris' rear Parking Sensors.

When I try to park in hot weather conditions (temperature above 27 oC) the system beeps continiously, although no obstacle is behind.

This problem occurs occasionaly, but not every time (sometimes I try to park with temperature above 30 Celsious, with no problem).

I would like to ask, if this problem happens to anyone else here. (Although I don't think you are exposed to these temperatures).

If it is normal or is problem that should be fixed.

The sensors are from META systems italy, and fitted by my local dealer here.

Hi there. I know there can be problems with parking sensors and extremes of temperature, both hot and cold. I would suggest you contact the manufacturer of your sensors (have a look on their website) and see if there is any info regarding your sensors and problems caused by temperature.

As above. Could it be you have water in one of the sensors and condensation is forming? I'm not sure if that is even possible?!
